Sri Eshwar facilitates its students to explore academic opportunities outside India through Semester Abroad Programs, International Internships, Global Immersion and Cultural Exchange Programs. In today’s seamlessly interconnected world it becomes important that the students are provided with an ecosystem for global collaboration, interactions and exchange of ideas which is offered to the students through our Outward Mobility programs.

SEMESTER ABROAD PROGRAM

As an autonomous institution, Sri Eshwar encourages interested students to study one or two semesters in a globally reputed overseas institution. This blended degree program gives an opportunity to the students to study the overseas curriculum, experience different teaching learning processes, gain global perspectives, exposure to diverse cultures, and expand professional networks.

After completion of the semester in the overseas institution, the student will return to Sri Eshwar to continue and complete his degree program. The credits earned by the student through the overseas courses will be transferred and added to the overall credits earned by the student at Sri Eshwar and considered for award of degree.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Who can apply for SAP?

Students should have a minimum CGPA of 8.0 with no standing arrears.

Year of Study
- For undergraduate students - 4 semesters should have been completed
- For Postgraduate students - 2 should have been completed

Language Proficiency Based on university requirements, students must take the English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, or other accepted language assessments
Passport Students must possess a valid passport for the entire duration of the program.

How to apply?

Request for a one–on-one counseling session by sending an email to [email protected].
Schedule the session based on the mutual convenience of yourself and CIR coordinator.
Decide if you wish to enroll in SAP.
Submit the required forms/transcripts duly signed, within the application deadline.
- Your most recent academic transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation from professors who can vouch for your academic abilities and potential.
- Detailed Resume(CV) highlighting academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and relevant project details.
- Transcript of Language Proficiency tests such as TOEFL or IELTS, where required.
Attend an Interview. (applicable for some universities)
- You will be contacted to attend an in-person/virtual interview (if required) within 1 to 2 weeks of submission of application.
Receive your admission intimation (if selected) through email.
- The application deadline for each program will vary. Check the program-specific deadlines with the CIR.

Got admitted! What’s next?

Plan your travel arrangements
- Apply for the necessary visa (if applicable) well in advance.
- Check any health requirements, such as vaccinations, and fulfill them before departure.
Attend Orientation and Pre-Departure session conducted by the university.
- A mandatory session covering topics such as cultural adjustment, health and safety, and academic expectations will be conducted by CIR team.

INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIPS

We strongly believe that overseas internship opportunities will give global exposure and further enhance the knowledge, skills and confidence level of our students. We highly encourage our students to enroll for internship experiences abroad to propel their careers. We provide our students with overseas internship opportunities in various countries for a duration of 1 to 3 months.

SUMMER/WINTER SCHOOLS

A short-term visit to overseas institutions would provide the students with an opportunity to go through a short-term course on an emerging technology, to experience their campus infrastructure and culture through conducted tours. The CIR facilitates 1 to 3 weeks immersion programs for its students at leading overseas institutions during the summer/winter holidays. The following are some of the overseas institutions with which the CIR has an agreement for Summer/Winter School opportunities.
