INSTITUTION INNOVATION COUNCIL (IIC)

The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) is an initiative by the Ministry of Education to systematically foster a culture of innovation and startup ecosystem into educational institutions. IIC’s role is to engage students and faculty in innovation and entrepreneurship related activities such as ideation, problem solving, proof of concept development, design thinking, IPR, project handling and management at pre-incubation and incubation stage, etc. In order to foster innovative culture and start-up ecosystem at Sri Eshwar, IIC activities such as projects, workshops, hackathons, ideation and brainstorming sessions are carried out. IIC provides a way for students and faculty members to further upskill and empower themselves with innovative thinking and entrepreneurship skills.

HACKATHONS

Hackathons are an integral part of the innovation ecosystem at Sri Eshwar. These exciting events bring together a diverse set of students, to tackle a specific challenge or develop a new product with certain specified themes within a compressed time frame. By participating in hackathons, students gain tremendous exposure, networking opportunities with peers, new perspectives to solve problems, mentorship from senior industry professionals to fine tune their ideas and design, internship opportunities and even early placement opportunities.
At Sri Eshwar, winning hackathons has become a habit! In fact it is in the DNA of Eshwarites!

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

A thirst for challenges along with a product mindset is deeply ingrained in Eshwarites. We are proud to showcase some products built from scratch through teamwork and innovative spirit. These products are solutions for real-word problems that have made life easy. Eshwarites never stop their inquisitive thinking and are always looking for the next problem to solve.

IGNITE - STARTUP ACCELERATOR

GET READY TO TURN YOUR IDEA INTO A MARKETABLE PRODUCT.

The state-of-the-art facilities of Ignite, creates an exciting ecosystem for students to collaborate using prototyping labs and a collaborative workspace. Ignite, staying true to its name is the birthplace of many start-ups. The first few years in the life of a start-up is crucial. At Sri Eshwar we give students the experience of how to convert an idea to a finished product by mentoring them through structured processes, conducting bootcamps and providing the infrastructure required to build the product. We also provide financial support if required, to support the launch of the product. Once the startup is stable and mature,, the young entrepreneurs fly off into their own offices and grow the business further. Sri Eshwar has been the birthplace of many such young entrepreneurs.
