INWARD MOBILITY

With its state-of-the-art facilities and highly experienced and capable professors, Sri Eshwar invites interested overseas students for Inward Mobility programs including Semester @ Sri Eshwar, Research Internships and Summer/Winter School programs at its campus. The inward programs provide an opportunity for the incoming students to study/carry out research work on advanced technologies and experience the Indian culture and heritage.  Overseas students interested in the above inward mobility programs may contact the CIR at [email protected].

EXPERIENCE THE LAND OF CULTURAL DIVERSITY

As an autonomous institution, Sri Eshwar encourages interested students to study one or two semesters in a globally reputed overseas institution.  This blended degree program gives an opportunity to the students to study the overseas curriculum/syllabus, experience different teaching learning processes, gain global perspectives, exposure to diverse cultures, and expand professional networks.  

After completion of the semester in the overseas institution, the student will return to Sri Eshwar to continue and complete his degree program.  The credits earned by the student through the overseas courses will be transferred and added to the overall credits earned by the student at Sri Eshwar and considered for award of degree.

APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Academic Requirements:Incoming students must meet the academic standards set by Sri Eshwar, including a minimum GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent in their home institution's grading system.
  • The incoming students should have been enrolled as a full-time student at their home institution, both when they apply and during the exchange at Sri Eshwar.
  • Undergraduate students with English as their primary language of instruction shall be exempted from taking up IELTS or other equivalent exams.  Others will be required to take up IELTS or other equivalent exam and submit the proof at the time of admission, to establish English proficiency.

Advising and Counseling

The CIR offers counseling services to help incoming students to get acclimatized to the ambience at Sri Eshwar campus.

Cultural Integration Programs

Sri Eshwar provides opportunities for incoming students to participate in cultural exchange programs, student clubs, and other events to foster cross-cultural understanding and engagement.

INTERNSHIPS @ SRI ESHWAR

Sri Eshwar invites overseas students for research internships at its campus.  With its strong research team and focus, Sri Eshwar invites overseas UG/Masters students and PhD scholars to collaborate with its research scholars/guides to carry out research activities over a period of 1 to 3 months.    This gives an opportunity for the overseas students to spend considerable time at Sri Eshwar’s Advanced Research Centres and carry out the research activities in a collaborative manner.  

Eligibility Requirements: The incoming students must be at least in the second year of their bachelor’s degree at one of Sri Eshwar’s partner institutions.  Research Internships are also open to Master’s students and PhD scholars. It is the applicant’s sole responsibility to submit the necessary information and documentation. Interested students are required to contact the CIR and upload the following documents.

Statement of Purpose (One page)

Updated CV or Resume (One page)

Transcripts or records of the last academic period (non-official transcripts admitted)

English proficiency tests, if required

Sri Eshwar Summer/Winter School programs

A short-term visit to Sri Eshwar by students from overseas institutions would
provide them with an opportunity to go through a short-term course on an
emerging technology, to experience Sri Eshwar campus infrastructure, the Indian
culture and heritage through conducted tours.  The CIR facilitates 1 to 3 weeks
immersion programs for students from overseas institutions during the
summer/winter holidays.

Note:  Overseas students enrolling for the above programs will be provided with
free accommodation and food at Sri Eshwar’s hostel facilities.
