Clubs are the heart and soul of the campus. Through the various clubs, many activities and events are conducted by students which brings the campus to life! Here’s a quick roundup of the clubs and what they do.
Media max
The objective of media max is to take up organization of the required facilities for the event – be it venue, artists, sound, lights and stage arrangements. Media Maxx is also responsible for branding the events in social media by attractive designs and catchy content. Students interested in this aspect of event management and branding are welcome to join Media Maxx.
Fine Arts - Groovex
Groovex is the dance club of Sri Eshwar. Groovex flash mobs are legendary at Sri Eshwar.
Our dancers perform during many events of the college and also get opportunities to represent college in inter-college culturals.
Fine Arts - Harmonix
Harmonix is our music club. All students interested in music – singing or playing instruments are welcome to be art of this club. Harmonix entertains students with routine band performances during Dhrona and other events.
Mentoring
Mentoring club is used to provide grooming and mentoring help for all students as they get ready to face their placements and career as a whole. Mentoring team does 15 minute interactions with every class during break time, to give them engaging exercises and tips that will come in handy for sharpening our soft skills.
Sports Club
The sports stars of Eshwar are part of this club. They not only play and compete but also organize sports events at intercollege and intra college level.
Tamil Mandram
To spread the beauty of the Tamil language and enable students to appreciate the rich heritage of Tamil not just as a language but as a way of life – this is the goal of Tamil Mandram. Students passionate about Tamil can join this club and be part of the events team.
Toastmasters Club
Toastmasters chapter of Sri Eshwar is part of the global Toastmasters organization that aims at improving the communication skills and public speaking skills among students and working professionals.
Grooming & Fashion
First Impression is the best impression. Fashion and grooming club works to ensure that Eshwarites are well dressed and looking presentable at all times. In order to become a world-class professional, grooming and being able look neat, sharp and very presentable is very much part of what it takes to be successful in the corporate world..
Hostel Experience
With the leadership of SLC representatives, hostel life of Sri Eshwar is kept active and vibrant. By organizing dj night, movie weekends, hostel day and many other engaging events, Hostel Experience members work at giving Sri Eshwar hostel dwellers a good time and also ensure hostellers timely feedback is taken to ensure life at hostel is comfortable and enjoyable!
Amenities
Amenities club takes care of the overall functioning of the Amenity centre to serve the students. Food festivals are conducted in various themes to give students a variety of culinary experiences. Amenities club will also be involved in ensuring students feedback to all the amenities are taken in a timely manner.
SESSWA
Sri Eshwar Student Social Welfare activities association spearheads all the social service activities undertaken by the college. Dedicated team of SESWA members work on the projects related to UBA and NSS.
